Halo 3 not so angelic

Gaming enthusiasts were left disappointed when the launch of a pilot version of Halo 3 stalled due to technical difficulties.
First released in 2004, the new version of the cult game attracted interest from thousands of gamers who were prepared to download the beta programme and immerse themselves in the fantasy world.
However, the game ran into technical difficulties on Wednesday afternoon shortly after its launch, when players were unable unlock a crucial option in the game.
Brian Jarrard community manager for the game's maker Bungie apologised to fans on the firm's website: "We realise this has been a pain for many and an inconvenience at the very least.
"Given the circumstances, we've decided to extend the duration of the Halo 3 Beta from June 6th to June 10th.
"So, you lost almost a full day of play today but to make up for it we're tacking on four more days (and a weekend at that)."
According to Microsoft, the first two Halo games sold 11 million units.
