It looks like the bearded one has beat off the city big wigs.

In a surprise move, Olivant, the blue blooded favourite and headed by city dream boy Luqman Arnold at the helm didnt have the backing of the good old british public, so after months of work they pulled out 15 mins before the final bids closed.

The Virgin PR juggenaught was set rolling minutes after Sir Richards bid was tabled squashing the competition by stating after major market research that only 3% of people would save with a company called Northern Rock (so thats the MBO out of the way) and that 73% love Virgin - Knock out in first round for Branson and Taxi for Olivant! 

Trumpo may now grow his hair and a beard - its obviously a look for success!
