Are the supermarkets running the country?

The supermarkets are now bankers, butchers, bakers and candle stick makers - what next?

Trumpo met with a farmer today, he can’t be a full time farmer because a certain major supermarket is only buying his beautiful welsh lamb for £20 - yes thats a whole welsh lamb for twenty quid. Seeing the work today that goes into rearing a lamb, I can understand why he’s pulling his hair out, a few years ago he could just get by when his lambs where being bought for £35 - £40 but, I’m afraid no more. The big scandal however is that a certain large supermarket makes a 500% mark up - yes a lamb in the supermarket yields them approx £100.

So to get by and make a living, instead of rounding up the sheep and muckspreading, he has resorted to herding families and school parties round his farm, to show how the real world actually operated before the t’internet and 24 hour shopping, and I can tell you it was fab.

I really do symapthise with the large farmers, as it’s obvious that they are now controlled by the supermarkets and operate under what its basically a monopoly.

We must fight for the independents, be it farmers, butchers or any local businesses for that matter.
