Corporate Governance or Complete Garbage?

Well it appears from the sunday papers that the knives are out for Mike Ashley - the recently floated Sports Direct chief. Ashley is in the same mould as Alan Sugar, Richard Branson and Philp Green - all hugely succesful and all guys who get the job done.

Too much corporate governance can strangle the FIJIT (f**k it just do it) approach that makes these giants of business succeed and without their flair and ability to take battle field decisions, the businesses can turn into complete garbage. It’s all about balance and allowing the deal makers to do deals and dot the i’s and cross the t’s later.
