The regulator have stated that 1.5 million could find it difficult, if not impossible to find an affordable deal next year.

What the regulator, the Bank of England and No 11 Downing Street fail to realise is that more than that are stuggling right now, never mind coming out of a fixed rate next year, millions of people are in dire straits today.

I think the regulator and government need to speak to consumers a little more, its scary what the outcome may be if rates arent dropped agressively and quickly.
